How do I go about retaining your services?
It is easy! We have a contract that we both
must sign (This is to protect both of our interests) . All we
require is a down payment of $200 to guarantee your date.
You can even charge it! We gladly accept Visa and MasterCard.
Do you take requests?
Of course! as many as you want. We do use
discretion though. At a wedding reception we would shy
away from inappropriate songs such as D-I-V-O-R-C-E.
Can I pick all the music for my
event?
You could, but we do not recommend it. Part of
our job is to "read the crowd", this is basically picking
out songs that your guests will respond to. This is impossible
to do beforehand. Instead of giving us a list of every song to
be played, we recommend giving us a small list of "must
plays" and maybe a list of some of your favorite
artists. Keep in mind that at a four hour event we will only
be able to play between 40 and 60 songs. Many of your guests
will have favorite songs they will want played too.
Can I see you perform at another event?
We would love to accommodate in this way, but
unfortunately in most cases we are unable to simply because most of
our shows are for private events. On some occasions we de
perform at public events and if that is the case you are more than
welcome to come see us. But we do not feel it is appropriate
to invite "strangers" to your (or somebody else's)
wedding, or private party. We do have a video of us in action
that we can send to you.
Can I choose my DJ?
Music To Go! Is owner operated, by Eric Hedman.
He will be your DJ.
XYZ DJ is cheaper. Will you
beat their price?
Competitor's lower prices do not concern us, they
know their worth! We compete on quality, not price. To be
honest, you will pay a little more for our services, but you
will get more for your money! For quality, PROFESSIONAL
entertainment, dollar for dollar you will
find that your best deal is with Music To Go!
